| i HIGHLY recommend you get a 95 300zx service manual. It's going to be your bible. the internals of the Z are pretty good for mild hp applications. Unless the engine is shit or you plan for more than 600hp, i would leave the bottom end alone and work the heads and everything else. If you're not mechanically inclined, get the engine work done at a shop that knows the motor well. If you have the skills, follow the book and research the tech section of this site for info and you should be fine. This aint 'yo daddy's mustang... it's a Z. Good luck! =)
